Spring Art 2008
Dear Friends,
We hope this finds you all in the best of health, spirit, and in anticipation of the coming spring. We regret to inform you that due to unavoidable circumstances we will not be able to hold the Spring Art Festival this year. This decision after much deliberation was reached with a heavy heart as we would have loved to hold such a wonderful event.
We do still plan to host a children’s art exhibit and we will be accepting art and craft submissions which will be displayed for public viewing. We believe that it is important to continue to celebrate children’s artistic efforts and plan on holding the “Spring Art Festival” in 2009.
Art and Craft
Submission Guidelines:
An original work of art is a joy to behold and always treasured. Children ages 5 and up are encouraged to submit works of art that they are proud of in any medium; drawing, painting, clay, woodworking, and the hand arts (sewing and embroidery, weaving, knitting, crochet). We request that all work submitted be biodegradable (nothing plastic).
Submissions may be taken or mailed to Northstar School: 2021 Highland Boulevard, Hayward, CA
The deadline for entries is May 30th, 2008
The children's work will be displayed in the Hayward City Hall Gallery in June 2008.
